Odo The Mighty

I made it a point to check my surroundings when I awoke this morning. My brother Drel constantly has me on high alert with all of his tricks. Just the other day he somehow managed to catch me in a net on the way home from gathering some firewood and this morning i knew he had something up his sleeve. I could almost feel him in the room. I rose to my feet and when saw he was nowhere in sight i took my first step and i immediately found myself back on the ground. My toes were tied together and on top of that Drel had leaped out of the shadows onto my back. Ever since before i can remember, his trickery had sparked a fire inside of me. Yet, this fire is not fueled by hate. It's more envy than anything. Somehow, Drel could pull off the most complex tricks with the gracefulness of a tree stump.

Atleast Drel stayed behind with me and gramps. All three of my other brothers set out soon after our parents were killed. I guess with Drel being the oldest he felt responsible for looking after me and gramps. I was only 8 when it happened. The second eldest, Merric, set out with high hopes of great adventures and the twins seemingly dissapeared overnight. Atleast thats how it seemed to me. Drel informed me today that he saw them the night that they left and they were speaking to a strange individual. He overheard a deal being made. I don't remember exactly what Drel was muttering about but something about magic and a favor they would each have to fullfill later. Drel tells me stories of the many beasts that Merric has rid this world of but he never brings up the twins... untill today, and now he suggests that I set out. "It's your time," he says.

Why me??? I don't even have any skills that prove to be any use. Everything I know is just a mock up version of what I've seen him do. He should be the one setting out on this "adventure." The sound of it is kind of appealing though.
Odo The Great
Odo The Mighty
Odo The Nimble
Those are all names i could get used to...

So, that's it. I, Odo, have decided to set out on an adventure but first i must eat a late night meal.

Ahh... decided to do a journal as well? I think I might too. It's kind of cool to see the different characters' personal perspectives.
